In the last five years, the English Literature Study Program has implemented two types of curriculum, namely the 2012 curriculum and the 2012 curriculum. The 2012 curriculum applies to students from the 2012-2016 batch, while the 2017 curriculum applies to students from the 2017 batch and after. In the 2017 curriculum students are required to take 130 credits of compulsory courses and 14 credits of the 28 credits of elective courses offered. In this curriculum the content of courses related to the field of Literature is very dominant according to the name of the study program, namely English Literature S1 and the vision and mission that has been proclaimed. This was done as a revision of the 2012 curriculum which was considered not to reflect the name of the study program. In addition, the curriculum structure also accommodates market needs and is future oriented in accordance with the vision and mission as well as input from lecturers, students, graduates and stakeholders.
